Lifestyle
Everything that makes a home a village.
Five parts of daily life at Solera: the people, the food, staying active, your interests, and the practical support that keeps it all running smoothly.
Solera Village is currently in development. The homes, shared spaces and services described here are planned for residents from opening in 2027.
Community
Neighbours who become friends.
Around 50 private homes per village, so faces become familiar quickly. Shared lounges, terraces and the café-bar make it easy to meet people, and just as easy to close your own front door.

A warm welcome
A personal welcome, introductions to neighbours and a first month of invitations, so nobody settles in alone.
Shared spaces
A residents' lounge, library corner and garden terraces for an unplanned chat or a quiet afternoon.
Village events
Seasonal suppers, local festivals, talks and celebrations, open to everyone and never compulsory.
Privacy respected
Your own entrance, your own terrace and your own rhythm. Joining in is always your choice.
Food & drink
Good food, without cooking every day.
Every Solera village has a café-bar and restaurant at its heart: coffee in the morning, a light lunch, and dinner with friends in the evening. Cook at home when you feel like it, and leave it to us when you don't.
The café-bar
Morning coffee, fresh pastries and an aperitivo at sunset. The natural meeting point of the village.
The restaurant
Seasonal Mediterranean cooking with local produce, from a simple lunch menu to relaxed shared suppers.
Grocery delivery
Order your weekly shop and everyday essentials and have them brought to your door.
Markets & tastings
Visits to local food markets, wineries and olive-oil producers, plus wine and tapas evenings in the village.
Sport & wellbeing
Stay active, at your own pace.
Movement, vitality and longevity on your own terms: morning laps in the pool, light-filled studios for yoga and strength, and coastal trails close to your door.

Pool & sun terrace
An outdoor pool with loungers and shade, for laps in the morning or a swim before dinner.
Gym & studio
A well-equipped gym and a studio for yoga, pilates, stretching and strength classes.
Walking, cycling & golf
Coastal paths, cycle routes and golf courses within easy reach, with group outings for those who enjoy company.
Treatments & healthspan
Massage and physiotherapy by appointment, with English-speaking doctors and clinics close by.
Clubs & interests
Bring your interests, or find new ones.
Clubs at Solera are shaped by the residents themselves. The village provides the rooms, the equipment and a little help with organising; you bring the ideas.
Culture & learning
Book club, film nights, talks, and Spanish or Portuguese conversation groups.
Creative pursuits
Painting, photography, music and cooking workshops in a dedicated club room.
Games & social
Bridge, chess, quiz evenings and card afternoons on the terrace.
Excursions
Day trips to hill villages, vineyards, concerts and nearby cities, arranged with the concierge.
Everyday support
The practical side, taken care of.
Your monthly service fee covers the day-to-day work of running a home, so your time goes on living rather than on organising tradespeople.
Weekly housekeeping
Your home cleaned every week, included in the monthly fee.
Maintenance & repairs
Preventative upkeep and repairs handled by the on-site team, with no hunting for tradespeople.
Concierge & reception
Parcels, bookings, taxis, restaurant tips, and help with local appointments and paperwork.
Help when you need it
Independent living with reassurance: a team on site who knows you, and links to trusted local care should you ever need it.
